Beat the Weather with Community Beer Works’ New Stout at Hydraulic Hearth
Nothing beats the winter blues like a nice stout and luckily, Community Beer Works and Hydraulic Hearth have us covered with their new Steamworks Stout. Brewed in collaboration with Lockport’s Steamworks Coffee, this creamy stout, which comes in at 6.1% ABV, features notes of roasted coffee, chocolate and subtle hints of vanilla. The addition of flaked oats and lactose sugar give this dark brew a smooth body, with balanced sweetness and gentle bitterness. The coffee used was a 60/40 Brazilian/Colombian blend roasted by Steamworks. Steamworks Stout is only available at Hydraulic Hearth in Larkinville. Growler fills are available to go.
