Steel Leaf Brewing Company is set to become the newest addition to the Eastern Hills Mall. The brewery will be located at site 220 at 4545 Transit Road in Williamsville. Eli Fish, SATO Brewpub Team Up on New Belgian Dubbel

Eli Fish Brewing and SATO Brewpub have teamed up on Pruimendubbel, a 7.5% Belgian Dubbel with Plums, which will be tapped in Eli Fish’s taproom in Batavia on August 12 (4pm). In addition to the collaboration, SATO will be bringing a Belgian IPA, Wit, Rice Lager and an Imperial Stout with Cherry and Cacao as part of a tap takeover. Pruimendubbel will be available in cans and on draft.

The Dude Hates Cancer, Resurgence Present Homebrew for a Good Cause

The Dude Hates Cancer and Resurgence Brewing are teaming up to present the 7th Annual The Dude’s Charity Homebrew Competition on August 14 (12pm). For a $30 donation (tickets available at Eventbrite) to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (100% of proceeds go to charity), you can sample beers from more than 25 homebrewers and help vote for a winner. One-Eyed Cat Brewing Pop-Up at Resurgence Brewing

One-Eyed Cat Brewing are taking their pop-up shop to Resurgence Brewing on August 15 (3-6p). They will be pouring free samples of Fika, a smoked bohemian pilsner, and Midnight on Mt. Hood, a Cascadian dark ale. Fika is brewed with smoked malt to add to a crisp, clean body, while Midnight features a balanced bitterness and sweet, roasted malts. They will also have some swag, including shirts, glasses and stickers available.

New Kolsch, New England IPA Coming to Thin Man

On August 13, Thin Man Brewery will release Tuskafari, a dry hopped kölsch brewed in collaboration with Syracuse’s The Blue Tusk; delicate tropical fruit character blends with a dry crisp clean base. Weirdly Wonderful Place, a 6.5% NEIPA, was brewed with experimental hop #09326 and features notes of pineapple and strawberry. Both will be available at all three Thin Man taprooms.

Spring Garden Association Presents Taste of Bier & Brats

A number of local breweries, including Flying Bison, Britesmith, Gene McCarthy’s, Belt Line, Resurgence, Windy Brew, New York Beer Project and Buffalo Brewing, will take part in Spring Garden’s Taste of Bier & Brats in East Aurora on August 14. $25 tickets includes a 16 oz. commemorative glass and 3 drink tickets.
