Community Beer Works Plans Pair of Can Releases

Community Beer Works will be dropping two new beers in cans this Friday, October 23 (3pm) – Black is Beautiful Imperial Stout and Good Neighbors IPA. CBW’s take on Black is Beautiful is a 9.5% ABV imperial stout that balances alcohol notes, roasted bitterness and dark chocolate flavors. The first $1,000 of proceeds will be donated to the Michael Jackson Foundation, who funds scholarships to BIPOC within the brewing and distilling trades. Good Neighbors IPA features prominent notes of tropical citrus and pineapple atop a soft malt base. Both beers are available for presale.

New York Beer Project Releasing Anniversary Beers All Month Long

In honor of their 5th anniversary, New York Beer Project is releasing beers weekly this month, starting with Imperial Destination IPA on October 22. This 9.4% triple dry-hopped Imperial IPA is a hoppier take on their flagship Destination IPA. NYBP are also releasing 16oz. commemorative Luminarc can glasses. For week 2, they will release Cherry Blonde Reserve on October 29. This is their Cherry Blonde aged in cherry brandy barrels for a gentle woody character with tart cherry concentrate. Order with a bourbon soaked cherry garnish. 10.5oz. commemorative rocks glasses will be available for purchase.

Brickyard Brewing Introduces New Beer Perfect for Colder Weather

Brickyard is fighting dropping temperatures with the release of Put a Coat On!, a blend of Gary Arthur Imperial Milk Stout, Chocolate Glaze Milk Stout, and an upcoming imperial stout named The Great Below. This limited concoction was aged in rum barrels for more than a year, then dosed with cold brew coffee, hazelnut and coconut. The end result is big notes of roasted malt, chocolate and deep coffee, with hazelnut, rum raisin and oaky booze.  Put a Coat On! is on tap now at Brickyard Pub for draft pours and crowlers to-go for $18.

Steelbound Brewery to Host First Ever Virtoberfest

In conjunction with the Springville Chamber of Commerce, Steelbound Brewery’s Springville location will host the first ever Virtoberfest on September 25 and October 1 (1-7pm). Your $30 ticket includes a German buffet, commemorative stein with fill of your choice, and an Oktoberfest t-shirt. Highlights from the event will also be streamed on Facebook starting at 1:30pm, including a traditional keg tapping and behind-the-scenes interviews with Steelbound’s brew master and head chef. Pressure Drop Plans Second Summer With New Sour

If you thought summer was over, think again. At least not at Pressure Drop, who have released a new sour, Second Summer, a raspberry sour with strong berry aromas and flavors, farmhouse notes and a dry, crisp finish. You can find this beer on tap at the Barrel Factory right now and in cans wherever great beer is sold soon.
