Rusty Nickel Activates Autumn Mode With Fall-Themed Beers
Rusty Nickel is ringing in the fall season in proper fashion with the release of a trio of new season-appropriate brews – Nitro Chai Tea Milk Stout, a smooth, creamy stout brewed with black tea, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, and vanilla, Pumper-Nickel Porter, an English Porter with notes of rye and roasted malts, and Pumpkin Spice Maltster Mash, brewed with locally-grown grains for flavors of sweet pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The brewery also has released two hard ciders, each made with Mayer Bros. cider, one dry and one semi-sweet. All are available on tap now.
Resurgence Brewing to Drop New Fruited IPA, Sour in Cans
Resurgence is planning a weekend of can releases (Kegs & Eggs is also this Sunday remember), including the debut of Juice in the Trunk Fruited IPA, and Arnold Palmer Sour. Juice in the Trunk is a Fruited IPA that’s dry-hopped with Sabro and Citra hops and fruited with pineapple and mango. It’s a full body beer with over-the-top tropical notes, mixed with a touch of coconut. Cans available Saturday. It will also be available on Sunday at Kegs and Eggs. Resurgence is also releasing Arnold Palmer Sour, a customer favorite from their August Kegs & Eggs, in 4-packs on Saturday. Pre-order now via HopMule.
Hydraulic Hearth Release Cans of Alpaca Porter
Hydraulic Hearth have rolled out their fourth ever beer in cans, Alpaca Porter. This sweet and creamy porter features notes of roast, backed by a sweet malt profile. It was released during their annual Alpaca Night, which did not (unfortunately) feature real life alpacas this year due to the pandemic. Beer can be ordered online.
Thin Man to Debut New Rice & Tea IPA, Return Another Favorite
On October 16, the packed release schedule at Thin Man Brewery continues with a brand new international collaboration, and the return of Sci-Fi Hamster Wheel. Jasmine Dragon is a Rice New England IPA brewed in collaboration with Totenhopfen from Luxembourg that features Jasmine rice and Jasmine tea. And, for those that don’t remember, Sci-Fi Hamster Wheel NEIPA features orange and dank berry with a fluffy mouthfeel, as well as tons of citrus. Available at all Thin Man locations this Friday.
Pressure Drop Plans Second Summer With New Sour
If you thought summer was over, think again. At least not at Pressure Drop, who have released a new sour, Second Summer, a raspberry sour with strong berry aromas and flavors, farmhouse notes and a dry, crisp finish. You can find this beer on tap at the Barrel Factory right now and in cans wherever great beer is sold soon.
Hamburg Brewing Getting Sneaky With New Fruited Sour
Dropping Sunday, October 18, Sneaki Tiki is a sour with pineapple, coconut, mango, lime & Citra hops, a beer similar to their Berry, Berry Sneaky. Expect aromas and flavors of tropical fruit. Cans will be released in conjuction with their Macy’s Pizzeria Pop-Up, 1-4pm.
In the Mix Brewing Debuts Latte Stout Series
Barker’s In the Mix Brewing will debut the first of their latte stout series, Drip (Bananas Foster), a 10% ABV Imperial Milk Stout conditioned on Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters bananas foster coffee, on October 16. That will be available on draft tomorrow. They have also announced a new sour, Raspberry Concord Illemonati, which is brewed with fresh pressed concord grape juice, generous amounts of raspberry puree and the lemon.
