BriarBrothers Brewing, the brainchild of local brothers Joel and Dylan Betti, have launched a new Kickstarter campaign to help fund their goal of opening a brick-and-mortar brewery.

The campaign runs through April 20 with a goal of $12,500. They are currently in the home stretch with just shy of $12,000 raised as of this writing. Monies raised will go towards designing, renovating, and developing the brewery. As of now, they have not announced a possible location.

The boys of BriarBrothers have been crafting their homebrew recipes since January 2018 after Joel bought a “Make Your Own Beer Kit” as a gift for Dylan. It sat dormant until one faithful snowday when Joel and Dylan finally put it to use, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“We’re finally at the point in our dream where we are ready to find a place to call our home and we need your help!” Dylan says. “We launched our Kickstarter to assist with designing and developing our future brick and mortar which is in the process of being decided on. Thanks to each and every one of you who have shown interest and support thus far. We love this beer drinking town and can’t wait to be another destination for your craft beer needs! Cheers!”

They are hoping to be up and running by fall.

You can donate any amount you’d like, but there are perks for certain donation tiers. From $5 all the way up to $10,000, various perks include thank you notes, digital shoutouts, having your name displayed in the brewery upon opening, logo stickers, pint glasses, shirts, hoodies, exclusive party invitations, brewer for a day opportunities, mug club membership, the chance to host a private party at the brewery, and having a tank in the brewhouse named after you.

The brewery has also announced that if they reach their fundraising goal, Dylan and Joel will both take part in a beer mile challenge, where both run a full mile while chugging 4 12oz. beers at 4 intervals.

If and when the goal is achieved, a poll will determine which beer will be drank during the beer mile, and it will be filmed and posted online. For every $250 above the goal, one more person will be added to the beer mile to take part with the Betti brothers.
