To commemorate the launch of the 42 North Kölsch beer, Kölsch Fest returns to 42 North Brewing on Saturday, August 16, a day steeped in German beer tradition, live music, and festive fare.

Starting at noon, 42 North will be pouring their crisp, clean Kölsch-style ale in traditional 7oz. Stange glasses, just as they do in Cologne. Each pour is $3 and they will keep coming until you tell your beertender to stop, just like they pour in the Rhineland brewpubs.

At 5 pm, the celebration kicks up a notch as Captain Tom and the Hooligans take the stage with authentic Volksmusik to get you swaying and singing through the evening. They’ll be playing live until 8 pm, bringing the perfect soundtrack to your steins.

Pair your pours with German-inspired eats from the Fat Bob’s @42 North kitchen — hearty, savory, and made to complement the Kölsch.

Join us at the 42 North East Aurora taproom, 25 Pine Street, for a day of German tradition, camaraderie, and fun. The event is free to attend.
