Delaware North has partnered with 42 North Brewing Co. to introduce Legendary Lager, a limited-edition beer that will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo. The beer, named in honor of Jackie Robinson, who wore No. 42, celebrates both baseball’s legacy and the power of community.
Legendary Lager will be available for a limited time at select Delaware North locations in the Buffalo area: Buffalo Niagara International Airport (June 1-Aug. 1), Top of the Falls Restaurant (June 30-July 27), Patina 250 (June 1-Aug. 1) and Hamburg Gaming (July 1-Aug. 31). It will also be available at 42 North Brewing’s taprooms in East Aurora and downtown Buffalo, along with in 16-ounce cans at Consumer’s Beverages, Tops, Wegmans and Sahlen Field.
Crafted by 42 North Brewing, Legendary Lager offers a smooth and balanced flavor. A portion of proceeds from each sale will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo and its youth sports programs.
“The number 42 represents courage, commitment and integrity. We are excited to introduce the 42 North Legendary Lager to recognize this legacy and support youth sports in our community,” said John Cimperman, founder of 42 North Brewing Co. “By partnering with Delaware North and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, we hope to help get more kids out on the sandlots.”
Delaware North has a longstanding partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, including helping to launch co-ed youth baseball in 2024 to provide more opportunities for local children to play the game.
“Jackie Robinson was a trailblazer, and through this partnership, we hope to inspire the next generation of young athletes,” said Lindsay Truesdell, director of partnership marketing at Delaware North. “By supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs, we are helping to provide a field for the next legend to emerge.”
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo logo will be featured on all marketing materials to highlight the collaboration. Availability is limited, and production will conclude at the end of August.
