42 North Brewing will host the 6th annual Barrel Jam Festival on Saturday, Jan. 24. The unique beer festival celebrates the art of barrel-aging beers with beer samplings, live music, and winter sports activities, all spread around the brewery’s East Aurora campus.
In addition to 42 North, this year’s line-up includes numerous breweries in New York state and beyond, such as Brooklyn’s Wild East, Batavia’s Eli Fish, Auburn’s Prison City, Cazenovia’s Meier’s Creek, Jack’s Abby, Brewery Ardennes, Ellicottville Brewing, Strangebird, 1911 Cider, Hudson Valley’s Drowned Lands, and Cooperstown’s Brewery Ommegang.

In addition to barrel-aged beer, the event features a Rail Jam ski/snowboard competition hosted by Holiday Valley with a ramp and rail set up in the alley behind the brewery. The Funk Knights will hit the stage at 5 pm.
“This is one of our favorite events of the winter,” states 42 North founder John Cimperman. “It’s a great opportunity for beer lovers to stretch their boundaries with some of the most unique barrel-aged beers in the country.”
