Wildflower Meadery has teamed up with the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens on Botanical Breeze, a light session mead infused with lemon and lavender and brewed with honey from the beehives at the Botanical Gardens.

“Wildflower Meadery and the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens have teamed up to present a crisp citrusy mead infused with lavender, lemon, and honey,” the description of Botanical Breeze reads. “As you sip, consider the important role our pollinating pals, the honeybees, played in the making of this product. Sit back, sip and thank your friend, the honeybee!”

The new mead is a way to help contribute to educational programs and collections at the Botanical Gardens. Each can features a QR code that links directly to donate to the Botanical Gardens. You can also find out more about how you can help, whether it be through donations or volunteering, here.

“As the only Botanical Gardens supporting the Western New York region, we believe our mission to deepen the connection between people and plants through beautiful gardens and extraordinary experiences brings tremendous value to our community,” the Botanical Gardens says. “It is with your support that we are able to continue to diversify our living collections to create beautiful exhibits, foster educational opportunities, and connect people with plants and the natural world.”

Botanical Breeze can be found at Wildflower Meadery’s taproom and the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, as well as at select retailers around Western New York. It can also be ordered online at https://wildflowerbeverages.com.
