The Buffalo Chapter of the Pink Boots Society is celebrating International Women’s Day by hosting a Collaboration Brew Day on Friday, March 8 at Resurgence Brewing.

Local members and aspiring members are invited to come together to brew a Hazy Buffalo Style IPA, “Every Beer is a Girls’ Beer,” using hops donated from Hopsteiner.

Mash in will start at 10 a.m. at Resurgence, but attendees can join at any point during the day before 2 p.m.

A portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to Pink Boots Society, a global organization with a mission to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented beverage industry through education. The organization uses funds raised from the Collaboration Brew Day to offer members industry support and scholarships.

All women and nonbinary individuals in the fermented beverage industry are encouraged to attend, even if you aren’t a member, to have a hands-on experience brewing a specialty beer as a team and to learn what Pink Boots Society is all about.

The Buffalo Chapter’s 2024 Collaboration Brew will be released on Saturday, March 30 at Resurgence Brewing Co.’s taproom on Chicago Street in Buffalo. The beer will be available on draft at Resurgence and sold at participating breweries, bars, and retailers.

Pre-registration to participate in the Collaboration Brew Day is required. If you are a PBS member, registration is free! There is a small fee for non-members. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/pbsbuffalo or https://www.facebook.com/rbcchicagosttaproom.
