The New York State Brewers Association (NYSBA) is hosting an artwork contest for the design of the 4th Annual New York State Pint Days Glass. Over Thanksgiving week, thousands of craft beer enthusiasts will head out to NYS breweries across the state to purchase this year’s collector’s glass. Each year’s glass features a unique design that celebrates NYS craft beer.
“As we all know, there is an abundance of creative talent in our craft beer community! That is why we are inviting our Think NY, Drink NY friends from across the state to submit a design for the 2023 NYS Pint Days glass,” said Chloe Kay, NYSBA Marketing Manager.
Entries will be accepted until June 18th before being narrowed down by NYSBA to the top 2-3 designs. At that point, a public vote will take place to determine the winning design. The winner will receive $500 and recognition as the 2023 Pint Days Artist. If applicable, the affiliated brewery of the artist will receive recognition and 72 complimentary Pint Days glasses.
NYSBA created New York State Pint Days to drive consumers to craft breweries across the state. The annual event also raises funds for the association and its sub-guilds with $1 per glass directly supporting their mission to unify, protect and propel the state’s 500+ independent craft breweries through advocacy, education, and promotion.
Nearly 40,000 Pint Days glasses have been purchased by craft beer enthusiasts over the last three years, offering an exciting opportunity for artists to see their work in the hands of thousands of beer enthusiasts. 2022 was the first time NYSBA hosted the artwork contest and over 2,000 people voted on the winner.
