It’s Super Bowl or bust for the Buffalo Bills this season, plain and simple. While the team is in the postseason, the product on the field hasn’t been without its warts. And for every chink in the armor that might exist for Josh Allen and company, there’s a beer for that. This is Buffalo at the end of the day, a place where we love our beer as much as we love our sports.

It’s no secret that Bills-themed craft beers and ciders are a big thing here in Western New York, and it seems that more and more pop up in cans and on draft at brewery taprooms, bottle shops, beer bars and retail stores every season. It can be overwhelming (trust me, I know) trying to navigate the landscape of these releases, but that’s I’m here for.

Just starting out? Reach for something light, like approachable lagers like Thin Man’s Mafia Light, Pearl Street/Riverworks Buffalo vs. Everybody Light or Community Beer Works Let’s Go Pils. Want some hops? Try Ellicottville Brewing’s Fan Zone IPA, a 5% hazy IPA with notes of peach, apricot and stone fruit. Or are you craving something darker? There’s Big Ditch’s Make Me Wanna Stout, a coffee and cream stout brewed with Revolution coffee beans from Public Espresso. Even if you’re not a beer drinker, Clarksburg Cider has you covered with Shout! hard cider.

As the Bills make their march towards Super Bowl LX, make sure to do so with any one of these Bills-themed beers and ciders in hand.
