Big Ditch Brewing is celebrating 10 years of brewing craft beer in downtown Buffalo with a block party on Saturday, May 31.

The event will take place on Huron Street in front of their tap room as Big Ditch transforms the street into a full-scale festival.

The party runs from 1 – 9pm, rain or shine, and will feature live music, special beer releases, food favorites, giveaways, and more.

“Ten years ago, we opened our brewery and tap room on Huron Street in downtown Buffalo,” said Matt Kahn, president and co-founder of Big Ditch. “This anniversary party is a thank you to our community and a celebration of everything we’ve built together since then. We’re excited to share this milestone with everyone who has supported us along the way.”

The event will include live music, headlined by XOXO Pop Band on an outdoor stage at 6pm, with Steven Babcock opening at 1pm, the return of four fan-favorite beers from Big Ditch’s early years (Citraburner American IPA, Excavator Brown Ale with Rye, FC Session Wheat Ale, Shipshape Pilsner), a special food menu featuring fun and flavorful party fare and free prize giveaways throughout the day.

The throwback beers will also be available in a limited-release mixed 12-pack to take home.
