42 North Brewing is launching a new line of premium craft beers to push the boundaries of recipe development. Under the sub-brand, “The Brewery at the End of the Universe,” 42 North will release a new specialty beer every six to eight weeks.
The first beer of the series, “Definitely Panic” will be a Double IPA featuring Nectaron, Mosaic and Cascade hops with an ABV of 8.25%. Focusing on ingredient quality rather than a specific style, this line of beers will also include styles like fruited goses, pastry stouts, and experimental lagers.
According to 42 North’s head brewer Matt Matuszewski, “The inspiration of this new line of beers came from a number of small batches we have created over the last few years. Customers were asking when these beers would be distributed beyond our taproom. The Brewery at the End of the Universe series is the answer.”
Definitely Panic will be unveiled at the 42 North taproom on Friday, March 25 and be available at fine craft beer retailers beginning in Buffalo and Rochester beginning the first of April.
