42 North Brewing Company will host the 6th Annual ‘Barrel Jam” Festival on Saturday, January 24th in East Aurora.
“Barrel Jam” is one of the region’s most unique beer festivals celebrating the art of barrel-aging beers with beer
samplings, live music, and winter sports activities around the brewery’s “campus”.
In addition to 42 North, this year’s line-up includes some of the most renowned breweries in New York State and beyond, including Wild East, Eli Fish, Prison City, Meier’s Creek, Jack’s Abby, Brewery Ardennes, Ellicottville Brewing Company, Strangebird, 1911 Cider, Drowned Lands, and Brewery Ommegang.
In addition to the barrel aged beers, the event features a Rail Jam ski/snowboard competition hosted by Holiday Valley with a ramp and rail set up in the alley behind the brewery. Buffalo’s premier funk band, The Funk Knights, will hit the stage inside the brewery at 5 pm.
“This is one of our favorite events of the winter,” states 42 North founder John Cimperman. “It’s a great opportunity for beer lovers to stretch their boundaries with some of the most unique barrel aged beers in the country,” he added.
Tickets start at $40 and include three hours of beer tasting, live music, and a complimentary tasting glass. A limited number of VIP tickets will also be sold that offer festival attendees an additional hour of tasting. Tickets are now on sale at https://bit.ly/BarrelJam26 or at 42 North Brewing.
