Resurgence Brewing Co. is bringing back one of Buffalo’s most delicious afternoons! Pizza Fest returns Sunday, April 19 from 12 – 3 pm, bringing together some of the city’s favorite pizzerias for a fun-filled afternoon of sample slices, a full bar, live DJ, giveaways, a beer pairing station, and a little friendly competition.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, and include 12 sample slices plus access to vote in the Best Pepperoni Pizza and Best Specialty Pizza competition.
Resurgence’s Loyalty members also receive one complimentary Resurgence beer, Blackbird cider, or Brightside Vibes canned cocktail, because great pizza deserves a great drink. A full cash bar will also be available.
This year’s confirmed participating pizzerias include Bocce Club Pizza, Carbone’s Pizza, Imperial Pizza, Macy’s Place Pizzeria, One Pie Pizza Co. and more! Each pizzeria will be serving a pepperoni and specialty pizza of their choice, giving guests plenty to taste, debate, and vote on. Best Pepperoni Pizza and Best Specialty Pizza winners will be crowned at an awards ceremony, taking home custom Pizza Fest trophies and bragging rights on Resurgence’s social media.
Guests are encouraged to stick around until the end for the chance to take home raffle prizes.
Beyond the pizza, guests can enjoy Resurgence’s full bar, live music by DJ Buffalove Sounds, a photo booth, and a beer pairing station featuring chicken wing dip and Resurgence’s Flats & Drums Pale Ale, which is brewed to be the perfect pairing for spicy wings. Finally, all guests will take home exclusive coupons to Resurgence’s taproom and select participating pizzerias.
