Hofbrauhaus Munich Oktoberfest Keg Tapping
Hofbrauhaus is getting an early start to the Oktoberfest season with a barrel tapping of Munich Oktoberfest on Sept. 11. The ceremonial tapping will take place at 6 pm with a traditional ceremonial parade and live music, as well as raffles and 50/50 drawings benefitting the Ten Lives Club Cat Adoption Group. This full bodied beer is brewed with Bavarian hops and malt to create notes of toasted malt, fruity hops and spice. Unique Beer Through the Ages at Buffalo Iron Works
Buffalo Iron Works is hosting a unique beer event on September 5 (6:30 pm), Beer Through the Ages: A Modern Country x Buffalo Beer Experience, a curated tasting event that pairs four Buffalo brews, each released in a different era of the city’s modern craft beer movement, with popular country songs from the same time period, performed by Dead End Highway. Featured breweries include Flying Bison, Community Beer Works, Thin Man Brewery, Big Ditch Brewing, and Resurgence Brewing. The event is hosted by The BuffaloBeerfluencer, Emily Sorokes. Western New York Beer Week Returns For 2025
The 2025 Western New York Beer Week, presented at the WNY Brewers Guild, will take place Sept. 25 – Oct. 5. The weeklong event will feature a number of special beer releases, specials and events, which will be announced in the coming weeks, including a new collaborative hazy IPA featuring all participating breweries. “WNY Craft Beer Week is our annual showcase for our industry and collaboration is the foundation of that industry,” said Rob Haag, president, WNY Brewers Guild, “All the local breweries work together for the betterment of each other and the local beer drinkers in general. Free Canalside Shuttle Runs Through Sept. 28
There is still time to explore everything Buffalo’s waterfront has to offer with Canalside’s free shuttle service, which runs through Sept. 28. There are eight stops along the shuttle route – Perry Street and Commercial St., Lloyd St. and Prime St., Prime and Perry (Resurgence Brewing at Canalside), Michigan St. and Scott St. (Hofbrauhaus), Scott and Washington St. (Southern Tier Brewing Buffalo, Pizza Plant / Pod City Beer Labs, Other Half Brewing Buffalo, Pearl Street Brewery), Marine Drive and Wilkeson Way. The shuttle runs in a continuous loop with an estimated 15 minutes between each stop. The shuttle runs Friday and Saturday, 12 – 10 pm.
Mystic Hills Brewing 2nd Anniversary Party
Join Mystic Hills Brewing in East Concord on Saturday, Sept. 6th for their second anniversary bash. The party will feature pizza from Underfire Pizza, tarot and psychic readings with Ohen Healing, a dog adoption event with White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary. Community Beer Works, Smoldered Society and Thin Man Brewery are teaming up to host a special sensory beer tasting and class at VUE Rooftop Lounge at the Curtiss Hotel on Sept. 22 (6pm).
