This year’s Oktoberfest at Resurgence Brewing is set to make history with a daring new tradition that’s equal parts festive and fearless: the Pumpkin Chug.
On Saturday, September 27 at 3 pm, Oktoberfest attendees can trade steins for gourds, and participate in the first-ever Resurgence Pumpkin Chug. For just $5, participants receive their pumpkin and beer fill, and the chance to become part of Buffalo’s newest Oktoberfest legend.
“Oktoberfest is about fun, tradition, and community,” says Jeff Ware, owner/president of Resurgence Brewing. “We wanted to add something bold and uniquely Buffalo, and the Pumpkin Chug was born.”
The Pumpkin Chug is just one highlight of a full day of Oktoberfest celebrations at Resurgence. From 12 pm – 6 pm, guests can enjoy:
- Live polka music by The Polka Boyz
- A classic Stein Hoisting Competition
- Seasonal food, festive beer, cider, and more
