Magic Bear Beer Cellar has introduced a new curated Oktoberfest beer pack just in time for the upcoming fall beer season.

The OktoBEARfest Offering is essentially a fall beer advent calendar, featuring a mixed 12-pack assortment of Oktoberfests, Marzens, and Festbiers to enjoy throughout the Oktoberfest season, which takes place from September 20 to October 5.

The boxes were curated by Magic Bear owner and Certified Cicerone® Craig Altobello.

“I picked a variety of both Oktoberfest-Marzen styles and traditional Festbier styles, both Germam and American,” Altobello said of the OktoBEARfest Offering. “Typical American Oktoberfest beers are more akin to the Märzen style. You will see plenty of that style at Oktoberfest, but only the breweries in Munich can call their beers Oktoberfestbier – others refer to it as Festbier. Typical Festbier is actually lighter in color and closer to a golden pilsner, but with a little additional soft malt sweetness. Festbier is more typical of what you will see at Oktoberfest and the style is brewed for other festivals as well for its drinkability.”

Pre-sale for the OktoBEARfest Offering is currently available at https://www.magicbearbeer.com. Beer boxes cost $39 (plus tax) and there is a limited quantity available. Boxes can be picked up beginning September 16.
