42 North Brewing is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a month of special beers and events. The 10th Anniversary will celebrate the brewery’s connection with its loyal customers and its collaboration with the regional community.

As part of the 10th Anniversary Celebration, 42 North will kick things off by bringing back a series of beers to the their taprooms in both East Aurora and downtown Buffalo. Beginning the first week of October, Halt! Who Gose There will be back on tap. This will be followed by two fan favorites, Colonel Maxwell Hazy IPA and the Fortune Fetcher Pineapple IPA. Both of these limited-edition IPA’s were part of 42 North Preemption Series dating back to the early years of the brewery’s operation.

The Anniversary Celebration will culminate in the East Aurora taproom with a series of special events and activities the weekend on October 18.

The events include the following:

Saturday, October 18:

  • Live music from Buffalo Music Hall of Famer, Marty Peters, from 2-5 pm followed by the Leroy Townes Band, 7-10 pm.
  • The Buffalove Bus will be on-site from 2-5 pm for vintage photos.
  • The first 100 customers will receive a commemorative pint glass.

Sunday, October 19:

  • Hatchet & Hops will offer up axe throwing from 2-5 pm.
  • The Brothers Blue will host their Old-Time String Jam from 4-7 pm.

“We have been blessed to be part of a great community. When we opened the doors ten years back, we did not know where this vision would take us. We are grateful to our customers, our community partners, and a great team at 42 North. We hope everyone can come down to the taproom to raise a pint and celebrate this milestone,” says John Cimperman, 42 North founder.

Since opening in October of 2015, 42 North has expanded its brewing operations in East Aurora and opened a second taproom in downtown Buffalo. The brewery has also collaborated with Fat Bob’s Smokehouse to offer up the famous BBQ in East Aurora and their sister company, Queen City Bistro, to deliver full-serve dining at their downtown location. Heading into the next year, 42 North has plans to open a new taproom in Skaneateles, NY.
