East Aurora’s 42 North Brewing and Borderland Music Festival have teamed up once again to release this year’s Limited Edition Borderland IPA Beer Label. The highly-touted Borderland IPA (a staple in local beer lineups around WNY) with the special festival poster art label is now available at the 42 North taproom and at grocery stores and bottle shops around WNY.
This limited run won’t last long – encouraging fans to secure their 4-packs before it’s too late. Festival goers and beer enthusiasts can pick-up the special edition can at Tops Markets and Wegmans in both Buffalo & Rochester markets as well as independent stores including Consumers Beverage and bottleshops and bars around Western New York. Look for the festival-art 4-pack wherever your favorite local craft beer is sold.
The Borderland IPA, 42 North’s flagship beer, is an American IPA with strong grapefruit/citrus aromas and similar flavors on the palate. Tropical fruits like mango, guava and passionfruit will surface to the discerning palate. Borderland is a relatively easy-drinking IPA and does not have an overly bitter finish, making it accessible to veteran and novice IPA enthusiasts alike.
“This is what it’s all about, “says Borderland Festival Marketing Director Zachary Keller, “the love of music and the love of craft beer in the region is very symbiotic. Being able to show that creatively is important to us.”
The 2025 Borderland Festival artwork features this year’s festival poster art made be local artist Ryan Besch. Besch is a veteran in the poster art scene, working with the likes of Billy Strings, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Goose & many more touring artists over the years. For the third year in a row, Borderland Festival has teamed up with Besch to bring the music lineup and brand to life through his art.
Held at Knox Farm State Park in the village of East Aurora, Borderland Festival will feature art, food, culture and music from multiple stages throughout the weekend. Fans will spend three days roaming the curated festival grounds packed with local and regional vendors, crafters, artists, restaurants, breweries and more.
