Like the title of this article says, it’s Monday, so we’re all back to work, right? Unless you’re like me and work the weekends. Thankfully for all of us, this is no ordinary Monday, as it’s a Buffalo Beer Week Monday, meaning that it doesn’t have to be part of the normal wake up, drink coffee, work, go home, eat dinner, go to bed routine. Well, you can do all of those things, but just add a few beers somewhere in that process. And if you’re looking for something to drink, there’s no shortage of big events going down today.

Hotel Henry is teaming up with a handful of local breweries and cideries including Froth Brewing, Thin Man, 42 North and BlackBird Cider Works for a true Farm to Pint & Plate craft beer and food pairing on September 16 (6pm). Pair Froth’s Stardog Double IPA with seared scallops, Blackbird’s Tart Cherry Perry cider with porchetta, 42 North’s Oatmeal Cookie Brown Ale with a spiced chocolate nut bar from 100 Acres Bakery and Thin Man’s Pills Mafia with rabbit quesadilla. Each $55 ticket includes four sampling glasses of craft brew, one full draft of your choosing, and four tasting plates.

12 Gates Brewing are releasing cans of their Community Beer Works collab Resting Peach Face, a sessionable peach sour. $12.69 4-pack/ $76 case 16oz, cans (+ tax & deposit). Pints of Resting Peach Face will be $5.

The Buffalo Beer Geeks are hosting a charitable bottle share at Belt Line Brewery & Kitchen on September 16 (5pm), with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit the Kevin Guest House, whose mission it is to provide a home away from home for patients and their families traveling for medical care. For a donation (ticketing information at EventBrite) and some geeky bottles, you can join in on the share and donate to a good cause. The Buffalo Beer Geeks club will be on site selling their newest glassware. Light complimentary bites will be served. Kitchen will be open too.

Elsewhere during Buffalo Beer Week, as has become custom, Buffalo Brewing Company will be open every single day. Pearl Street (seasonal beers with Beer Week booklet) and Lafayette Brewing are offering $3.50 pints all Beer Week long, and score $2 off pints at Pizza Plant (both locations) and $4 pints at Riverworks Brewing with coupons you can find in the official Beer Week book. Also, Blackbird Cider Works have daily specials, Hamm & Fattey’s and Fattey Beer Co. are running select $3 pint specials (check Buffalobeerweek.com for more details) and Five & 20 will be donating a portion of the proceeds from their specially priced Beer of the Month to Habitat for Humanity during the entire course of Buffalo Beer Week.
