Douglas Jemal and Douglas Development are proud to announce the Seneca One Summer Jam, an outdoor concert and networking series at the base of Seneca One in the West Plaza.

The weekly series offers live music, networking, food trucks, a mini vendor market, and a chance for guests to see Seneca One for themselves.

Douglas Development has teamed up with local not-for-profit JazzBuffalo and the Buffalo Holiday Market to see that there is a fresh rotation of music weekly and there are new Buffalo small businesses set up on site for guests to shop local while enjoying the Summer Jam.

While there will be refreshments available outside, the SO Lobby Bar and Grille will also be open to those who want to explore the lobby to find the famous bar from HBO’s The Sopranos. Buffalo’s largest beer garden, Other Half Brewing Company, will be open during the series as well for all guests to enjoy.

“JazzBuffalo is excited to partner with Douglas Development Corporation and Seneca One once again as we enter our second year of producing music on the West Plaza,” Tony Zambito of JazzBuffalo said. “We appreciate the sense of community we are working on together. Every Wednesday from 4 – 8pm starting June 15 until August 31

The event is from 4 – 8pm and is open to the public, free, dog friendly, family friendly, and the perfect
chance to check out Seneca One and learn about all of the opportunities available in regards to employment, living downtown, and dining options.

Brooklyn’s Other Half Brewing, who also has a taproom in Bloomfield, NY at the former Nedloh Brewery, will soon be opening up a new taproom at Seneca One Tower in Buffalo, Developer Douglas Jemal has confirmed.

The popular brewery has signed a lease to occupy a total of 12,000 square feet in two buildings in Seneca One’s eastern plaza, according to Jemal.

The brewery is currently seeking proper licensing and hope to open up their new location by June.

Other Half currently holds weekly beer pop-ups at Seneca One every Saturday at 11am. Visit their Instagram page for more details.

Thin Man x Other Half Spaghetti Parm Space Station IPA

Other Half Brewing Company, one of the most sought after craft brewing brands on the east coast, will be popping up at Seneca One in downtown Buffalo for the second Saturday in a row. The sale will begin promptly at 11am and will press on until all beer is sold out. Last Saturday, hundreds of people stood in the cold for hours to get their hands on beers that are normally not available in WNY.

The pop up will take place at Main and Seneca Streets unless wind forces the team to call an audible and move to a new location on the Seneca One footprint. Other Half has announced that over fifteen beers will be available this Saturday and encourage everyone to get there early to guarantee their purchase.

“We were absolutely blown away by the amount of people that showed up to support Other Half Brewing Company this past weekend in Buffalo. It was an unbelievable portrayal of Buffalo’s true colors when they showed up at Seneca One and saw over a hundred people waiting in the freezing cold for hours. The line was cheering when the truck arrived.” said Sean Heidinger, Director of Business Development at Douglas Development Corporation,  “We did see some beer lovers leave empty-handed, unfortunately, so we’re back this Saturday with even more beer and a lively, yet cold, environment for all to enjoy.”

The sale this Saturday is take-out only so the beers cannot be enjoyed on site, but the Seneca One team has hinted that they are working on an outdoor environment at Seneca One for the spring and summer of 2021.

Other Half Brewing Company was founded in Brooklyn, New York in 2014. Other Half also has locations in Bloomfield, New York in the Finger Lakes and Washington D.C.

Seneca One, at 1 Seneca Street, is Douglas Jemal’s $150M mixed use redevelopment of One Seneca Tower, now the home to over 100 apartments, M&T Bank’s technology hub, 43North, Serendipity Labs, and various technology tenants.

Below are the first three of many beers to be announced for this Saturday:

1. FLeXin’ on 5&20 Imperial IPA (10.0%) Celebrate the beauty of the Finger Lakes with this Galaxy, Citra Cryo, Simcoe Cryo, Sabro and Ekuanot jammed imperial IPA. $22 per 4 pack

2. Triple Multi-Chroma Imperial IPA (10%) The mash up of 6 of our favorite Chroma series single hops into one beast of a beer. Jammed with Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, Nelson, Motueka and Simcoe. $20 per 4 pack.

3. Panna e Fragole Imperial Honey Strawberry Cream IPA (8.0%) Brewed with strawberry puree and whole New York strawberries, raw orange blossom honey from upstate NY, spelt, oats and then hopped with Citra, Hallertau Blanc, and Huell Melon. $20 per 4 pack.
