Because, let’s face it, there’s going to be a more than a few beers on tap, so we want to make sure you know what ones to target early.

Riverworks Brewing Company, one of Buffalo’s newest attractions that recently opened inside of the old grain silos at Buffalo Riverworks, are bringing two beers to the festival that you are not going to want to miss – Conveyor Cream Ale and Rejuvenator New England-style IPA.

There might not be a better option for a first beer at the festival than Riverworks’ Conveyor Cream Ale. It’s light and crisp and gets back to RBC’s roots of being a grain elevator by adding corn in addition to the barley in the grain bill. Imported German hops keep the flavor balanced and smooth.

After that, try the Rejuvenator NEIPA. “It’s called such because of our project rejuvenating a part of Buffalo’s history,” Riverworks head brewers Chris Herr says. “The grain elevator was invented in Buffalo, and we are the only brewery built in to a grain silo in the world. Our IPA is a New England style, which means it’s very aromatic and juicy without being too bitter.”

Tickets are on sale now for the fourth annual Buffalo Brewers Festival, summer’s marquee beer fest, which takes place Saturday, June 24 from 4-7pm, at the Outer Harbor. The festival will feature more than 40 breweries, including all 20 local breweries, as well as local farmers, chefs and food trucks. The Brewers Fest will also feature two Meet the Brewers sessions, which feature local beer pairings with cheeses from Reverie Creamery and sweets from Chow Chocolates. In additional to the Meet the Brewer Tent, there are be a number of special feature tents, including a NYS Cider Tent, a Farm to Pint tent and an Ontario Beer Tent. Tickets can be purchased right now at www.BuffaloBrewersFestival.com.
